The old 478 CPU on the new 775 motherboard

The Intel 478 serial CPU which has been in market for six years, at present the qualified one are still coming into the computer spare-parts market by multi-millions every year, but they can only be used on the disused motherboard - the old 845 in present market, only because of the different pin, and have no chance to combine with the presently popular 775 motherboard of Intel 915/945 and SIS,VIA,NVIDIA
